At Shiv Printer, we understand that circumstances may change after placing an order. This policy outlines our cancellation and refund procedures to ensure clarity and fairness for all our customers. Given the custom nature of our printing services, specific conditions apply to different types of orders and production stages.

Order Cancellation Policy

Before Production Begins

  • Free Cancellation: Orders can be cancelled without charge within 2 hours of placement
  • Design Phase: Orders in design review stage can be cancelled with full refund
  • Proof Approval: Cancellation allowed until customer approves final proof
  • Processing: Contact us immediately if you need to cancel – we’ll accommodate if possible

During Production

  • Partial Refund: 50% refund available if production has started but not completed
  • Material Costs: Costs for materials already used will be deducted
  • Rush Orders: Special production orders may have different cancellation terms
  • Custom Designs: Orders with approved custom artwork may have limited cancellation options

After Production Completion

  • No Cancellation: Orders cannot be cancelled once production is complete
  • Quality Issues: Refunds available only for defective or damaged products
  • Wrong Specifications: Our error will result in full refund and reprint
  • Customer Error: Orders printed according to customer specifications cannot be refunded

  • Customer error in design or specifications
  • Change of mind after proof approval
  • Minor color variations within acceptable range
  • Orders delivered but not collected
  • Damage due to improper handling after delivery
  • Custom orders printed as per approved specifications

Product-Specific Policies

Visiting Cards (500 GSM & 800 GSM)

Cancellation allowed until final proof approval. Quality guarantee for printing and finishing.

Bill Books & Envelopes

Custom numbering and sequential orders cannot be cancelled once production begins.

Posters & Large Format Printing

Cancellation available until printing starts. Quality issues will be reprinted at no charge.

Custom Items (ATM Pouches, Garment Tags, Files)

Limited cancellation due to custom nature. Full refund only for production errors.

Special Circumstances

Rush Orders

Due to expedited processing, rush orders have modified cancellation terms:

  • Cancellation window reduced to 1 hour after placement
  • No refunds once production begins
  • Rush fees are non-refundable
  • Quality guarantee still applies

Bulk Orders

Large quantity orders (500+ units) have specific terms:

  • Sample approval required before full production
  • Partial cancellation allowed for unproduced quantities
  • Graduated refund scale based on completion percentage
  • Extended quality review period (10 days)
